Our Story
We started VCAMP with the goal of creating an academic programme that would prepare tomorrow’s professionals. VCAMP expanded from a single programme at Vedanta Consulting to an organisation that organises numerous teaching and research activities based on three fundamental principles: empathy, agility, and collaboration.
We launched Vedanta Consulting as a small boutique consulting firm to address corporate problems after several years of working with various project partners.
One of our important clients approached us with an unusual problem a few years ago: could we assist them train their mid-level staff for leadership positions on a large scale?
Could we devise a framework in which people from diverse Indian states not only share a similar vocabulary and thinking, but also continue to learn as they practise? After seven years and hundreds of participants, the initiative has evolved into VCAMP (Vedanta’s Center for Advanced Management Practice), a new educational enterprise. Today, VCAMPs continues to perform innovation research and education across India, with an emphasis on upskilling and reskilling the professionals of future.
